Manola Alba began classical dancing in Lecce (Italy), her hometown. She continued her training in Monaco (Princesse Grace Dance Academy) and Germany (John Cranko Schule-Stuttgart).
At the age of 17 she joined the Leipziger Ballet, directed by Uwe Scholz. She then continued her professional career in different ballet Companies across Europe, such as the Vienna State Opera Ballet, Introdans, and the Opéra de Nice.
She has danced a vast repertoire, both classical and modern, and has been invited to dance at Festivals and Companies in Europe, the USA and Japan.
In 2006 she obtained her Gyrotonic and Gyrokinesis Instructor Diploma as well as her Dance Instructor Diploma.
In 2007 she moved to Paris and dedicated herself to the teaching and the study of these methods. She is currently a pre-trainer, manager and Director of the Centre UMA in Paris, France.
