Dacia Biletnikoff was born and raised in California, where she was trained by Theodore Constant and performed his classical, Neo-classical and contemporary choreography at the Mondavi Center for the Performing Arts in Davis, CA, Jacob's Pillow International Dance Festival, MA , as well as on tour in Europe in productions such as "A Midsummer Night's Dream", "Don Quixote", and "The Canyon", among others.
Dacia's training then extended from the United States to Europe, where she attended London Contemporary Dance School "The Place", graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Contemporary Dance with High Honors.
During this time she studied with dancers and choreographers from Batsheva Dance Company, Scottish Dance Theatre, DV8 Physical Theatre, Random Dance Company and Merce Cunningham Dance Company.
After graduation, Ms. Biletnikoff collaborated in Bologna, Italy, with Leggere Strutture, directed by Brigel Gjoka. She worked with dancers from the William Forsythe Company (Germany) and Wim Vandekeybus / Ultima Vez (Belgium).
Ms. Biletnikoff has performed with "Carabdanza" in Madrid, Spain, and has been a company member of Ballet Notiva and the Chadesh Contemporary Dance Movement.
Currently, Ms. Biletnikoff continues to choreograph, perform, teach and inspire.
