Tina studied ballet at Rose Marie Floyd Studio of Dance in Royal Oak, Michigan. During the course of her training there, she completed six levels of the Cecchetti Method of Ballet by 16 years of age. During this time, due to her talent, she was awarded several scholarships by the Cecchetti Council of America.
While studying at Rose Marie Floyd Studio of Dance and performing with the Contemporary Civic Ballet, Tina was awarded scholarships to The Joffrey School of Ballet in New York City every summer term between the ages of 14-17, before joining The Joffrey Ballet Company.
After retiring from professional ballet, she married and went on to raise a family. She raised and home-schooled five children in rural Hawaii.
Twenty-five years ago, she returned to dance in California, as a student and educator. In her role as a dance educator, Tina has trained many young aspiring dancers and choreographed numerous dance performances. Most recently, she was employed as the Artistic Director of the Ballet Program at a local dance studio, and was a member and Ballet Mistress of CORE Contemporary Dance, a local professional dance company.
Tina's forte is coaching and training young students to become professional dancers.
